Farmers and Merchants State Bank was chartered in 1890. Over the years, F&M State Bank has grown tremendously with the acquisition of branches in Niobrara, Center, Crofton, Hartington and South Yankton, Nebraska.

Farmers and Merchants State Bank takes pride in being a family owned and oriented Bank. The combined efforts and dedication of the more than 28 employees make us a strong financial leader in northeast Nebraska. Farmers and Merchants State Bank has a proven record in meeting community needs ranging from direct community support through the donations made to the Bloomfield Community Center, the Bloomfield Community Library, the Niobrara Golf Course, the Niobrara School Playground, the Crofton Golf Course, the Hartington Library, the Center Centennial, as well as local scholarship programs at all of the schools in the communities we serve, to the adaptation of new technologies and services we offer. We are proud to present our latest technology product, Internet Banking, for your approval and convenience.

Farmers and Merchants State Bank offers a variety of services including Safe Deposit Box Rentals, Cashier Checks, Money Wires, Direct Deposit, and Visa Check Card or ATM Cards. We also do our own check printing at our Center Branch location to provide fast, competitively priced service to you, our customers.
